Darran Lorne

Head Principal

Welcome back to a new academic year! My name is Mr. Darran Lorne and I am the new Head Principal of Heritage International School. Over the past 29 years, I have served as a Principal in Canada, with 3 years in Abu Dhabi and I am very excited to join the Heritage family.

It is my responsibility as Head Principal to maintain a welcoming and caring school environment. I believe learning should be rigorous, relevant and that instruction is engaging and empowering for our students.  And with this, teachers at Heritage International School are expected to be student-centred, focussing on individual success.

Mr. Mark Remington has been working for approximately 20 years in international education across three continents varying from primary to adult education. In this time, he has served over 10 years as a school administrator, mostly within the Canadian academic program, as well as a classroom teacher in multiple countries including South Korea, China, The United States and most recently Egypt. …

John Mullin

Secondary Vice Principal

Mr. John is a Canadian teacher who was trained in Ontario and has been working in education for 12 years. He has worked in Kuwait, China, Australia and Egypt. During his time at Heritage, Mr. John has served as the Head of Business Education, the Head of English and Humanities, the Director of the Model United Nations program and is currently serving as a Vice Principal for the Secondary School.
