 Senior Kindergarten teaching position – Canadian Division


 

 

Teaching Opportunity

 

Heritage International is currently seeking applications for a Senior Kindergarten Teacher for our Canadian Division. Heritage International currently offers Canadian curriculum and will expanding in September 2024 with the introduction of a British Section to the primary years. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals.

 

Qualifications:

 

  1. English as a first language speaker.
  2. Applicants must possess a Teaching Certificate or an Early Childhood Certification.
  3. 3 years’ classroom experience.

 

The successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

 

  • Strong understanding of Early Childhood Education.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Education.
  • Promote a positive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in collaboration with the Early Years Team.
  • Maintain a well-structured classroom.
  • Demonstrate differentiation of instruction to match the needs of individual students.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:  

 

  • Teach all areas of the Senior Kindergarten curriculum.
  • Take responsibility for the progress of a class of early-age pupils.
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources and create displays to encourage a positive learning environment.
  • Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.
  • Prepare and mark work to facilitate positive pupil development.
  • Ensure that pupils are safe and that all child protection and safeguarding measures are followed in accordance with Heritage International School policy.
  • Provide feedback to parents and carers on a pupil’s progress at parents’ evenings and other meetings.
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Organise and take part in school events, outings and activities.
  • Liaise with colleagues.

Heritage International School in Sixth of October City, Cairo, is accepting teacher applications for the Early Years of our new British Section. We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic individuals.

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of teaching experience and/or teaching certificate.
  • Strong understanding of the U.K. primary curriculum.
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the English language.
