Raynard Schneider

Head Principal

We are proud to welcome Mr. Raynard Schneider as the new Head Principal of Heritage International School.

Originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Mr. Schneider is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, where he also played football for the Manitoba Bisons. With a career in education that spans over multiple continents, he brings a rich blend of experience, leadership, and cultural insight to our school community.

Mr. Schneider has taught and served as a principal at the primary, middle, and high school levels, and has held international leadership positions in Canada, Hong Kong, China, and Mexico. Before joining Heritage, he served as the Director of the Canadian School of Guadalajara and previously held the role of Head Principal of Clifford International School in Guangzhou, China.

He is deeply passionate about creating a safe, caring, and inclusive learning and working environment where both students and staff feel valued and supported. A strong advocate for holistic education, Mr. Schneider believes that nurturing well-rounded, compassionate learners is key to long-term success.

 

 

Mark Remington

Elementary Vice Principal

Mr. Mark Remington has been working for approximately 20 years in international education across three continents varying from primary to adult education. In this time, he has served over 10 years as a school administrator, mostly within the Canadian academic program, as well as a classroom teacher in multiple countries including South Korea, China, The United States and most recently Egypt. …

Secondary Vice Principal

Ms. Cameron DeRoo comes to Egypt from Alberta, Canada, where she earned her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in leadership at the University of Calgary, a program that is significantly shaping her approach to education and leadership.

Outside of the classroom, Ms. DeRoo enjoys reading, baking, staying active, and exploring the rich culture of her new surroundings. She is particularly excited about the opportunity to see her students excel in the British English Olympics and to work closely with her English and Social Studies classes. Above all, Ms. DeRoo is enthusiastic about connecting with each student and supporting them in reaching their full potential.
