INTRODUCTION
The Elementary School Program at Heritage International School covers Grades 1 to 6 and builds on the foundations established in the Early Years.
The program combines strong academic expectations with engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences that develop curiosity, creativity, communication, collaboration, critical thinking, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

The Elementary School Program integrates the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), relevant Manitoba curriculum expectations, and Common Core learning standards to provide a balanced and coherent educational experience.

The Elementary School Program prepares students for a successful transition into Middle School by strengthening academic knowledge, effective study habits, organization, independence, responsibility, communication, and resilience. By the end of Grade 6, students are increasingly equipped to adapt to greater subject specialization, increased academic expectations, and the opportunities and challenges of early adolescence. |
