OVERVIEW

Grade 3 children take part in many activities to help them learn. The required subject areas are: arts education, English language arts, mathematics, physical education/health education, science, and social studies. Your child will have the chance to learn in many different ways – by themselves, with teachers and with other children.

  • February 18th -22nd We have a short week! No school Thursday 🙂 Math- We are continuing to learn about 3D shapes! English- We are beginning our novel study! Science- We are continuing our magnetism unit. We look forward to many exciting experiments this week!
  • February 11th-14th Valentines day this week! Check our edmodo for classroom updates! Math- We are beginning our unit on polygons and 3D shapes! English- We are wrapping up our poetry unit. We are reviewing story elements. Science- We are continuing our magnetism unit. We look forward to many exciting experiments this week!
